I wonder what it would do to my life if I just, starting now, let Art guide my literary life. Fascinating...

See my question is, how arrogant do you have to be to keep a list of every book you've ever read? Think about it; Art must have been sitting around one day - having just finished reading Johnny Tremain - and thought: "wow, I'd better save this for posterity! One day people will want to know!" Get over yourself Garfunkel.
